I walked through fire, got purged and clean,
found my way out without being seen.
I traveled to the dark lands and back
no longer stuck at the end of the track.
Like a fenix I rose at the crack of dawn,
my sparkling wings no longer withdrawn.
I wish you could see what I’ve become
no longer scared, but a woman of my own.
Then maybe you’d lift your eyes
and see me with a knowing smile.
