On Valentine’s Day, I want to share a collection of my poems about love—in all its forms. Love that burns brightly and love that lingers in the quiet spaces. Love that transforms us, leaves traces in the past, and changes the way we see the world. Love is not just joy, but also longing, loss, and fate pulling us together. Here are some of my favorite poems:
- Twin Flames – A love that mirrors itself, burning with an intensity that never truly fades.
- A New Shade of Blue – How love alters us, shifting our perspective in both beautiful and painful ways.
- Do You Remember? – A fleeting moment of closeness, preserved in the soft edges of memory.
- A Warm Evening in June – A summer night filled with promise, when the future felt limitless.
- Walk by My Side – A poem about unwavering support and love through life’s storms.

Twin Flames
I wonder if we have walked this earth before. Traveling through lifetimes and hidden doors. Being connected and torn apart by fate. Racing across sandstorms to meet yet again. Reaching for each other without knowing why. Feeling the pull across oceans of time.

A New Shade of Blue
A new shade of blue,
hiding in your eyes.
The color never seen,
an ocean of skies.
Something was there
that I had never seen before,
a shape that shifted
and took a new form.
Like jumping over stones
on a clear summer day,
the sun shining upon me
as you led the way.
It touched the water’s surface,
a million diamonds on display.
Like tiny shards of silver
caught in the wind from the bay.
Your reflection smiled at me
from the light of the sea,
pushing me onward
in the evening breeze.
You reached out your hand
to help me through,
a lightness in my chest
as I followed you.

Do You Remember?
Do you remember
when you reached out to grab my hand?
I was preparing to cross the street,
but you stopped me in my tracks.
Bewildered, I stood there,
not knowing what to do.
Your touch lingered on my hand
long after the moment was through.

A Warm Evening in June
I remember the night we met in June.
Your voice was silk on summer dunes.
You told me your secrets, and I told you mine.
As we walked the boardwalk,
you reached for my hand.
A promise was given but not said out loud.
I placed my trust in you
through the noise of the crowd.
We were nineteen, not yet weighed down by life.
That night, tomorrow lay before us
— an unbroken land.

Walk By My Side
Will you walk by my side
on days that I crumble?
When I fall
and can't get up on my feet.
Will you hold my hand
through the rain pouring down?
Lead me through the storm
so I don’t sink beneath.
If I whisper,
will you turn to hear what I said?
Walk closer to me
and tilt your head.
Will you help me raise my voice
so I can speak?
Travel to the dark lands
and back with me.
Concluding Thoughts
Some loves are meant to last a lifetime. Others arrive for a brief moment, leaving echoes behind. But all of them shape us.
Which love has stayed with you the longest?
